A sole practitioner for twenty years, Dr. Iammatteo prides himself on developing a close personal relationship with each of his patients. “The most rewarding part of my job is to be there when they really need me, and to help them through both the joys of birth as well as the more difficult issues that one may encounter,” he says. Nurse practitioner Karen Healy, who has been with Dr. Iammatteo for fifteen years, is also a vital part of his practice.
Lauded for his expertise in high-risk obstetrics, Dr. Iammatteo works in conjunction with the maternal/fetal medicine team at Morristown Memorial Hospital to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. He has special interests in operative hysteroscopy, operative laparoscopy, and the uplift procedure.
Committed to providing the most up-to-date treatments as well as enhancing patients’ overall health, Dr. Iammatteo has achieved certification in robotics, enabling him to offer minimally invasive surgical procedures. Future plans for his practice include providing comprehensive women’s wellness services to both his obstetrical and gynecological patients.
