Dr. Iammatteo in response to being asked about his career said; “It’s not my job, it’s my life!” His commitment to the care of each and every patient is well known among his patients, the Morristown Medical Center staff and throughout NJ. Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, Dr. Iammatteo received a football scholarship, and attended the University of Maine. After graduating with a bachelor of science degree, he attended Ross University School of Medicine where he achieved several academic honors. Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Iammatteo conducted his residency training at St. Michaels Medical Center in New Jersey. After graduating, he has been in practice in both Morristown & Bernardsville New Jersey. Dr. Iammatteo was a member of the Advisory Committee of the Department of OB/GYN of Morristown Memorial Hospital and served as Vice Chairman. He currently is an active member of the Advisory Board of Morristown Memorial Hospital. Dr. Iammatteo recently was elected to the Board of Directors of Life Line Medical Associates, LLC, a highly reputable organization consisting of 100 OB/GYN’s throughout the state of New Jersey. Dr. Iammatteo serves as the Chairman of the Care Review Committee of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Morristown Medical Center. He has held this position for the last 10 years. His committee reviews all cases to assure the standards of care both medically and surgically, are always optimally met. In 2007, The New York Jets partnered with Morristown Memorial hospital and through their affiliation, asked Dr. Iammatteo to be the Woman’s Health Care provider for the female employees, as well as the wives and teenagers of the players and coaches. Dr. Iammatteo has received many academic honors throughout his career, has several publications and most recently obtained certification for Robotic Surgery. Of all his interests and accomplishments, he is most compassionate about connecting to his patients. His care is legendary. For 8 consecutive years, Dr. Iammatteo has been awarded “Top Doc” by NJ Monthly Magazine, a sought after honor among physicians that is awarded by distinguished colleagues in the medical profession.
Karen Healy has been working with Dr. Iammatteo since 1995. She was a former Labor and Delivery nurse and also the evening administrative director at Morristown Medical Center. A Cum Laude graduate from Villanova University in 1985, she also received a masters degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995. She received many academic honors and graduated at the top of her class with a 4.0 average. She provides personalized care for women from adolescence through the menopausal years. She also provides expert Obstetrical Prenatal care to assist Dr. Iammatteo with each and every pregnant patient they care for. Karen is married with three children and has been a lifelong resident of New Jersey. She and her family enjoy many activities including: camping, skiing, and vacationing with their three dogs. Karen is also active in her Church and will assist the Parish nurse and helps with whole Parish Catechesis. Karen’s most recent personal experiences brought her to a medical mission trip to Haiti. There she aided many other health care professionals in helping the less privileged natives in providing services from vaccinations to triaging people for surgery. ” It was one of the most eye opening experiences I have been fortunate to be part of” she was quoted saying upon her return home. Karen offers a keen understanding of women’s wellness and her patients concerns. She goes above and beyond the ensure patients’ needs are fully met.
Dr. Matthew Iammatteo and Mrs. Karen Healy are very excited to announce Dr. Kerry Graebe has joined them at the Madison Avenue OB-GYN. Dr. Kerry Graebe was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Minor in Biology. Prior to attending Ross University, School of Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Medicine, Dr. Graebe, spent time getting to know children and their families, working as a teacher in a distinguished elementary school. At Ross University, Dr. Graebe participated in several medical missions projects providing medical care to the aboriginal people of the Caribbean. Her experience working with infants, children and adults is vast in her career, and her exceptional patient care is exemplary. After Ross University, Dr. Kerry completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Morristown Medical Center. There she received several honors: Most recently she achieved, The Chairman’s Award and Award for Excellence in Obstetrics. During her residency, Dr. Graebe was an active member in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Junior Fellow, participating in both the Congressional Leadership Conference and the Junior Fellow fundraisers. Dr. Graebe provides primary care for woman from adolescence to menopausal years. In addition, she is trained to care for and treat both high and low risk pregnancies and has honed her expertise in the newest minimally invasive surgical techniques, including the Da Vinci robot. Dr. Graebe is currently welcoming new patients and has already made a great impact on families of Madison Avenue Ob-gyn. In her free time, Dr. Kerry enjoys spending time with her husband and their two, young children.
